Review on High-Performance DEWALT Diamond Blade for Masonry, 7-Inch – DW4712B by Ryan Schweigert

First thing I would like to say is that I am a total DIY enthusiast. I bought it to replace the first one I bought in HD. The reason I bought this blade again is because the first one (Avanti) had a brass ring in the center and fell out before I could cut 3ft 1/2in deep. When I bought this blade I settled on a picture that only showed a 5/8" hole and didn't require a brass ring, thinking this would solve my problem and hold up better in my handsaw. The blade had the same brass ring when I received it so DO NOT look at the picture. Anyway, I used a new DeWalt blade and gave it a try. I made sure the blade was secure and went to work. I was able to cut my 6 feet. Cord length X 2 inches deep NO PROBLEM. Maybe it was the brand? Or just the quality of the blade? But VERY SATISFIED with the result and quality of this DeWalt blade.
