Review on Premium Electric Module Assembly 1994 1995 by Tony Andrews

With this you can't get through the smog, you get fuel leaks in the form of fumes and poor gas mileage.

Very bad fuel pump. Does not have a rubber seal to prevent fuel leakage due to evaporation. I couldn't because I had an evaporator leak that I didn't have before (with a pre-test on the original pump). I only changed the pumps because my gauge on the original unit didn't show me the fuel level on the gauge. This part worked on this unit except my gas mileage was cut in half as the gas escaped as a vapor from a leaking fuel pump. The higher the temperature, the more gas vaporizes right out of your tank. I typically do 230-240 miles on one tank in my old V8 truck. I have driven about 100 miles of 20 gallons with this fuel pump. Insanity! I contacted the company to find out how to solve this problem and my email was ignored so it was bounced back. Not the easiest thing to return when soaked in gasoline. What a waste of money! It requires work for a mechanic to drop the tank to install this. So I had to pay for it twice. The second time I bought an OEM Delphi with a rubber seal. Did the evaporation test again and I passed. No problem. My recommendation as it is so expensive to change, don't skimp and buy a poorly made product. Bite the bullet and buy a branded pump/transmitter so you only have to do it once. I buy cheaper parts that usually fit my old truck, but I never thought of changing it twice. So be careful. If you have something in your car that is expensive to replace, you probably only want to do the job once. So buy something better. I learned this the hard way. Labor cost loss and gas loss due to evaporation. Plus the frustration of going through this ordeal.
