My 2013 MacBook Pro's right retina speaker exploded. I bought these speakers to replace a burned out one, I left the left speaker alone and just replaced the right one that burned out. The new speaker has no bass or mids, just treble. Aside from the terrible sound, they're about half as quiet as standard speakers at full volume. I ended up going to eBay and buying a $10 set of good used OEM speakers. They sounded like new and were cheaper than that Revain unbranded crap. If you're not buying a used OEM and are dying to buy new ones, buy the same speakers from Ali Express, or you might want a speaker that's just as cheap but can be had for around $4. Finally, I don't recommend them and strongly recommend buying good used Apple OEM speakers.
