As you can see from the picture, the brace is very long. While I would not run with it in the summer, running in the winter was fine. I have been wearing Ace braces that I got at WallyMart a d they do fine when it is warm. I probably wear the brace more as a crutch because I'm always afraid I will fall in the road. My BFF said the medium would be too big, but it is not as I have skinny legs, but they are runner's legs.The price is $18 for a pair, not just one like I originally thought.
