I bought this lock just over a year ago and it is holding up great. I don't think you can go wrong with this lock. It seems very safe. However, there is something to note: the U-lock is very large. It comes with a bike mount so you don't have to carry it on your body or in your bag, but the lock is too big to attach anywhere on my bike without anything getting in the way (like my bike). pedal legs, rack, bottle cage) so I either have to carry it around or attach it to the rack in a weird way so it doesn't hit the rear tire. So, yes, if you buy this lock you will get your money's worth. Just be prepared to figure out how to carry it around.
