Overall this is a good flashlight for my purpose (keyboard backlight on top) and at a good price. But the company's quality control is not good. The first light I got had several cracks and a dark spot on the dome. The replacement does not remember the brightness setting, despite good coverage, when I turn the light back on after using the medium setting (4500K/natural light) that I normally use. The other two color settings remember the brightness setting. So instead of increasing the brightness every time I turn it on, I just use one of the other settings so all I have to do is hit the power button. Does not violate terms and conditions and should not return another. I would buy the lamp again despite the quality defects. But they don't even pack the lamp in an outer carton. Both boxes of goods came in envelopes. So it might have caused some defects like a cracked hood cover. UPDATE: The light died today - less than a month after I received my new flashlight. It won't turn on despite various fixes. Since it only lasted a few weeks, I'm giving it one star now. It was nice while it lasted. However, I recommend saving the money and getting a flashlight whose durability and workmanship justifies the purchase.
