
how accurate is this? Looks like it's a color changing thermometer that gets hot from leaks. Is this a good way to check for a leak? The instructions are precise, so I can only hope that if I follow them, I'll get a representative result. Maybe I like too much technical detail, but I'd like instructions on how to determine what I'm doing wrong. The only technical detail in the instructions is "don't put it in the IR, it will melt." Not (figuratively) warm-fuzzy.
