As our cable bills kept increasing we decided to shorten the cable. We finally did it and got rid of the cable TV service. We decided to use a combination of the Revain Firestick and a pair of high definition TV antennas. The antennas were easy to set up. We put them by the window. One faces east and the other faces west (living room and bedroom). We receive about 60+ channels, but the vast majority of them are not really interesting for us (buying household goods, religion, foreign languages). The real reason I wanted antennas was to watch the NFL during football season. The only problem is that the channel that broadcasts most of the games (including our local team) was not found by any antenna. We have tried several times. During the playoffs, I even put the antenna outside and pointed it south (toward the station's tower). It hasn't even been seen. Strangely, at least half of the other channels come from the same southern exposure, and they're fine. I ended up missing the whole season.
