Smooth yarn with no breaks

It's great. The aluminum at the end is nice and smooth and doesn't cause the yarn to break. I'm glad I found this one with a soft grip. As others have said, there is NO space when you slide the amount of yarn down to the handle. If I have trouble with this, I carefully remove some of the rubbery material with a razor blade.
