Review on Enhanced Clover Rotary Cutter - 7500 Series with 45mm Blade by Linda Diaz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Feels good in the hand

I've been using Olfa's ergonomic model for many years and I still love it. However, I love everything Clover makes and saw that it could also be used while seated, so I gave it a try when Revain sold it for a great price. I love him more than my Olfa! I can use it while seated, I squeeze less, it feels better in my hand, the blade is easier to change. I love that the blades come with a cap that you don't remove until the blade is in place. My hands sometimes tremble due to a neurological condition, so I like to have much less or even no chance of cutting myself. The thumb latch to open and close moves very easily, I figured I'd have a hard time with that, but it's just very well made, so you don't have to press hard on it. Most brands are good, it's all about finding the one that best suits your needs. It far exceeded my expectations and is the only one I use now. Don't get me wrong, I still love my Olfa, I just always find myself reaching for Clover. A problem. The blade that came to me was defective. It didn't cut accurately the first time and started bouncing after cutting half a yard of fabric. Upon closer inspection, I saw that the edges were curled about half an inch. I bought a spare blade and it cuts like no other blade I've had, requires no pressure and goes through the cut with ease. He cut right from the first segment, and after cutting off half a meter of fabric, he began to bounce. Upon closer inspection, I saw that the edges were curled about half an inch.
