NavePoint 15U Wall Mount

The NavePoint 15U wall mount stand is exactly what I was looking for. held in the frame with four 3/8" pins. The beauty of this rack is that two of these pins can be removed, allowing the unit to be opened like a door and the back serviced. Remember, you have the top and bottom Having to leave room to access these pins. The downside is that the rear is over 17" wide which means it won't fit the 16" center studs. In my case I have a 2 x 4 frame I then attached the 2 x 4 frame to 15U and screwed the frame to the wall studs.I do not recommend using molly bolts to hold this unit.that the weight limit is 100lbs and when the unit is opened for service it only holds 50 lbs. I've increased the weight quite a bit by 15U and I would say that these tolerances shouldn't be exceeded. The most annoying thing is that there are two grommets on the underside that the pins go in. They are not well secured and use n use gravity to keep them in place and can fall out during assembly if not careful. In the end I taped them down so they wouldn't fall out when I open and close the panel during installation. Again, I'd probably buy a few smaller NavePoint units due to the weight issue. I like their system and when you're not out and about it's best not to put things on shelves.
