I purchased this compress after a recommendation from my Doctor to alleviate dry eye issues. She did not recommend the brand but just a heat holding compress. After searching the internet, then Best Buy I purchased this product. I have to say that I am more than satisfied with the results from this product.I warm it in the microwave for 30 seconds then test the heat by touching it on my forehead gently; then applying it over my eyes. I have a reclining sofa so I let it back and lay there with the compress on my eyes for around four minutes. Then once I remove the compress it feels as though my eyes are refreshed and brand new. No irritation or burning and the result lasts for a couple days for me. The doctor recommended that I use it daily until my eyes oil duct starts lubricating my eyes properly. I will say that the more you use it in the beginning, the less you will need to use it in the future.My fifteen years old son even uses the compress after looking at the computer all day for homeschool. He loves the way it improves his tired eyes and restores them to normal within five minutes. The thing I like most is that it is so easy to use that it almost seems as if it would not work.
