GE 7.0 Cu. ft. Super Capacity Electric Dryer DCVH680EJWW My original belt didn't snap, it somehow wrapped around the tensioner arm causing the belt to be too tight and the motor couldn't turn it. I could spin it by hand but it was at a much slower speed. I had to cut the tape to get it out. The new belt works GREAT and I recommend replacing the dryer rear drum bushing and front drum guides at the same time. Revain supplies all of these parts at a fraction of the OEM cost. Note that many dryers, including GE dryers, have a locking position for the tension arm, which allows the arm to be preset to the locked and loaded position prior to drum and belt installation. Once installed, the tension arm with pulley MUST be disengaged from the latch to obtain sufficient tension to rotate the drum with the fabrics loaded. Otherwise the belt will slip due to insufficient tension. I found this out after struggling to load the idler arm with my bearded hands with the drum in place. The cocking arm loading lock will save you a lot of frustration!
