Review on Dorman 264 969 Driver Valve Cover by Roberto Nastanovich

UPDATE 12 JANUARY 2020 It has been suspected that the PCV valve is causing oil throughout the engine bay on the driver's side apart from the gasket I mentioned. This product is terrible. This made my engine rough at idle. And I was having a hard time finding the cause of the rough idle and that was the problem. UPDATE: JANUARY 2020 CHANGE TO 2 STARS. The supplied gasket is not a quality gasket. If you plan to install this cover, purchase a good quality valve cover gasket. I noticed that the engine was covered in oil on the driver's side and I assume this was due to a bad gasket from Dorman. UPDATE: JULY 2019 I got 3 stars as I was still consuming the oil. Didn't fix my oil consumption. I'm going to make and install a GM oil slinger and see if it works. I will update again. I just installed it today (November 18, 2018) and will report problems with oil consumption. It's perfect for our 2010 suburb.
