I loved this JACO Elite tire gauge when I got it and started using it! ONLY maybe 20 times ago, when I used it occasionally to check for a slow leak in my Mustang's rear tire, this gauge just stopped keeping tire pressure readings! Now it just jumps to the pressure gauge and instantly returns to ZERO. Or sometimes it drops to about 15psi and stays there! And sometimes it just goes back to ZERO. So you have to watch the gauge when you press the pressure gauge on the valve and see where it originally read the pressure before it dropped and also trust that it really is! Thought I'd buy a Gold Standard tire pressure sensor, HA! Live and learn! Good thing I always have one of those cheap gauges with me so I don't get stuck on the side of the road! Guess I'll stick to my local auto parts store and buy what they sell there! Of course it's too late to go back, because how often do you use a tire pressure gauge when you're just an ordinary driver who only needs to check tire pressure occasionally! I'm actually going to keep it simple and stick with my trusty stick gauge. Even if it differs by a pound per square inch or two, at least I can't rely on it to protect me! Should I get fantasy? Lesson learned again. be easy!
