This little bookshelf arrived fairly quickly, was easy to assemble, made of wood (no cardboard) and looks pretty good. We kept ours natural because it matches the finishes in my son's room, but you can easily paint it if you want a different look. This is a durable and affordable small shelf. We ordered it because my son needed a place to store all of his online school supplies (microscope, books, lab supplies, folders, pens, etc.) for the big nightmare of 2020 when school is all home. Keeping the shelf for school instead of mixing school and recreational books, toys, etc. has helped keep us all organized. Now if you also teach at home school, I recommend this shelf as the perfect size to just dedicate to school. This will help you and your child focus and save time. We organized it well and put the plant on top. It looks good in his room, and the lack of clutter in the room helps the psyche. Every little thing counts. Health. Let's hope this nightmare ends soon.
