Review on Frigidaire WF2CB PureSource2 Filtration System by Damian Toupal

I have replaced my fridge water filter myself for the past few years and this is the first time I have received a defective item. After removing the old filter and installing a new one, water did not flow from the dispenser. I put the old one back in and the flow returned. Upon inspecting the new filter (see photo), I noticed that one of the inlets was missing a plastic tab. It looks like this tab is needed to start the water flow. My guess is that this particular item was returned by a previous customer who cut off the tag thinking it wasn't needed. Lesson for me: stop buying from Euro-Fairy. Unfortunately, the return period has already expired for me. I hope my experience will save others the potential cost of contacting support.
