Review on 📔 Strathmore 483-5 Softcover Watercolor Art Journal, 8x5.5, White, 24 Pages by Nicole Mcleod

The front of the book says there are 48 pages but only one side of each sheet can be used so only 24 pages/pages can be used. On each sheet of paper, one side is nice and rough - good for watercolor, and the other side is smooth and doesn't take watercolor well. If you use the smooth side to paint, you'll get plenty of watercolor paint into your paintings, even if you don't use a lot of water. In my opinion, this type of paper is not suitable for a watercolor magazine. I also think it's wrong when they advertise on the cover of a 48 page book. I want to buy a different type of journal where I have watercolor sketches on both pages. Maybe I can do pencil sketches on the smooth side.
