Reduces interference when connected to a WI-FI network. I really didn't think I would see a lot of RF interference from my router to my ROKU 4 if enough ferrite beads were placed on 45 devices. I also bought an extra 40 ferrite beads. To my surprise, I was working. The Roku 4 had fewer buffering issues, and more devices like phones and tablets connected better to my WiFi. I place them on every power cord, USB cable, printer, refrigerator, TV, UPS, ethernet, charging cable, alarm system and anything that can cause interference.
