Review on 🥜 Progressive Prepworks Nut Chopper with Non-Skid Base by Sarah Liggons

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far, so good . I'm a lucky tourist. not correct . Baker!

I'm surprised by all the bad reviews but I tried it for the first time today and it worked great. However, I only have chopped macadamia nuts, which are pretty soft, and walnuts are next. I don't currently need to chop the almonds, which seems to be a complaint here, so I can't comment on that. As for durability, I've only used it once so time will tell. I love peanut butter cookies with macadamia nuts and banana bread with walnuts and sometimes macadamia nuts. I used to use a Cuisinart grinder to grind nuts but they came out too small. I've tried hand grinding nuts but it's too long! There had to be a better way and reason to buy this item. The only reason for four stars (at the moment) is that it's not that easy to clean. Especially with something as fatty as macadamia and walnuts. I think we're all kind of lazy and either want to throw it in the dishwasher or be able to clean it in a few minutes. Sorry but that's not going to happen LOL! But using a small brush and a bottle brush for the foundation wasn't so bad. A peanut butter cookie for a lazy man with nuts should buy the Betty Crocker PB mix. 3 tbsp vegetable oil, tbsp water, 1 egg and 1/2 cup nuts and you're done (or should I say baked?) 6-8 minutes at 375 degrees and you're done LOL!

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
