Review on 🚀 Enhance Engine Performance with Gates TCKWP265A Timing Belt Kit & Water Pump by Aaron Lewis

Bought this kit for our PT Cruiser. We bought another car so I was in no hurry to work on it. I didn't work on it for 5 months until it got warmer. After installing the kit and doing other necessary maintenance, I often started the car (never drove it). He worked great. Once while servicing the air conditioner, I heard an unusual noise while the car was running and it stopped. After spending many hours in the car, I was ready to give up. My husband loves the car and asked me to give it another try. After going through the procedure again, I found that the belt had snapped. Picked up another timing belt (not Tor). After installing the new belt, I noticed that when I manually cranked the engine, the belt slipped off the idler pulley. Apparently the tensioner is defective. I've had great success with Gates products in the past. I'm a bit disappointed this time.
