I've been using a tire for less than a week. This effectively prevented the fingers from twisting towards the palm and greatly reduced the pain associated with it. So far I only wear it at night when I sleep. I have not yet used the compression stockings that came with them. I was able to adjust the splint so it was tight enough to stay on without causing discomfort when worn. I can see how the open ends of Velcro straps can irritate adjacent fingers, but that wasn't a problem for me given the size of my fingers. Trimming the ends should solve this problem if it ever occurs. It's good to have a spare tire. The product arrived a day earlier than planned. Much better than my homemade hoop made from duct tape and a piece of semi-rigid plastic.
