My lead jack failed and this replacement was easy to install and is a replica for my 2013 Forest River Van. Jacks must be lubricated annually. I read a suggestion to apply wheel bearing grease to the gears after removing the jack top cover and then pour some engine oil to drip onto the jack bolt. Seems easy enough! I stacked solid concrete blocks and used a bottle jack to jack up the van so the jack could be removed. Or of course you can leave the van attached to the truck.
