Fits perfectly. Easy to install

My lead jack failed and this replacement was easy to install and is a replica for my 2013 Forest River Van. Jacks must be lubricated annually. I read a suggestion to apply wheel bearing grease to the gears after removing the jack top cover and then pour some engine oil to drip onto the jack bolt. Seems easy enough! I stacked solid concrete blocks and used a bottle jack to jack up the van so the jack could be removed. Or of course you can leave the van attached to the truck.

A lucky purchase fixed my blocked leg and then something!

Bought 2 of these to replace both stabilizer legs on a 2003 34 ft Thor toy dump truck and spent the extra money on an extra derailleur, motor and gear drive for the auxiliary stabilizer so it could are now independent for targeting and much faster than single engine. The independent chassis units are about $700 plus and I did everything for $350. You need to put more lube in these legs than specified. You can relocate the grease fittings on either side by removing the plastic caps from the…

Good replacement but may need modification

Replaced our 2006 Jazz five wheel chassis. As mentioned in previous reviews, the attachment tabs on the legs don't quite fit between the eyelets on the trainer. This required some leg loop looping, which took a while as we didn't want to shoot too much. We (my husband and I) could have installed them in an hour, but due to the extra time it took us four or five hours to install and remove and sand. Some might fit perfectly, but I think it depends on how even the welds are on the trailer itself.

The old gearbox didn't come off easily.

Unclear price. I paid over $60 more than the equivalent trailing leg but now I see that 2 weeks after ordering they switched supplier from Revain to Class A Customs and lowered the price to about the same price. I can't get the old gearbox off the input shaft. So I removed the motor and hung it out of the way, then I removed the leg with the gearbox. Once I took it out I was able to knock the gearbox off the shaft a bit. I didn't want to hit it hard because of the aluminum body. The old gearbox

Lippert is quality! I highly recommend this leg.

Very easy to install system. Be aware that these legs are heavy but still manageable. I uploaded 6 photos; one old and 5 new. In photo #1, the old leg has been removed. In photo no. 5 both legs on the day of receipt. (I ordered both sides.) The right side in photo #5 is the front landing gear. Please note that my new ones are equipped with a factory oiler! The original factory parts on my trailer would not lubricate at all! Kudos to Lippert for this improvement! Okay, I added one more photo…

Was disappointed that the oiler was on the wrong side.

Was disappointed that the grease nipple was on the wrong side. that the plastic plugs I removed were broken and difficult to get out. After reinstalling the 90 angle fittings so I could reach them after installing the leg, I simply put a piece of tape over the empty holes on the back where I removed the grease fittings. This is an exact replacement for the previous leg I had. except my previous leg had no fittings for grease fittings and my old trapezoidal thread and brass nut in the old leg…
