After 2 birds met their maker by falling into the same window hours apart I decided something had to be done. I found these brackets and ordered them. They arrived quickly. I washed the windows (an added bonus - clean windows!), put them on top of the windows and smoothed them out. They stayed with no problems until the cat decided to take them off. After rescuing them from the cat, I smoothed them out, put them back on the window and pressed them tight. Like new! I have leads on almost all windows and so far I haven't had a single bird kill as they were on 3 windows! I heard a bird or two hitting the windows but not a single stunned bird lying on the ground and no dead ones. I think they noticed the stop a bit late and tried to pull up and they hit the window with less force. I was expecting them to look very tasteless but turns out I like them!
