I love these butterflies! They are perfect for my windows, big and very bright colors. I bought them to keep a very annoying bird from constantly pecking at our windows. He tried to attack his own reflection. They worked like a charm! They stopped the bird and now we don't hear the knocking every morning. I'm really happy they worked so well and look really cute! These chains are easy to handle. Most of the time, however, they don't look painted. They look dark gray depending on the sun outside. Even with the back on, there's white in the butterfly design. If you remove the backing, all white becomes transparent. I bought another pack of forty different designs and they are all beautiful in color (including white in the design). After 2 birds met their maker by falling into the same window hours apart I decided something had to be done. I found these brackets and ordered them. They arrived quickly. I washed the windows (an added bonus - clean windows!), put them on top of the windows and smoothed them out. They stayed with no problems until the cat decided to take them off.
