We bought these based on the good reviews but they don't protect as well as they should. They are essentially soft fabric pot holders with small cross lines of silicone. These lines help with traction but do not protect from the heat at all. The first (and only) time we used them, the heat penetrated the oven mitt very quickly and I had to quickly put the pot on the table before I burned myself. I'm guessing you have less than 5 seconds before you burn out. who needs it I found another branded oven mitt that is fully covered in silicone, allowing you to keep the item out of the oven for as long as needed. I do not recommend this product at all.
