Disappointing Finish for Arts and Crafts

I purchased the weathered centerpiece hoping to use it in my latest project. Through trial and error, I found that the finish was rough and poorly executed. The centerpiece didn't match my other woodcrafts at all. The pro is that the product was made from natural materials. However, the disappointing finish left me hesitant to purchase another product from this category again.
