What I love about these roller skates is that my daughter can grow in them as she grows. This means that as her leg grows, so do her skates. I don't have to keep buying her new skates, which not only saves her money, but also allows her to keep using them. I ordered medium because it's currently a size 12.5/13, depending on the shoe. They fit her really well but what I like is that they slide out when you press the button on the side. The listing states that the size will change from a 13 to an 8.5. To test this I put them on my daughter and they gave her wiggle room. My wife is a size 8M and we stretched her completely and asked her to try them on. Not only did they fit, but they had plenty of room for my toes, so we had to nudge them a bit to keep them from falling off her. The wheels shine, but more importantly, they stay on my daughter's feet. They don't slip when skating thanks to a strap that goes around your leg just above the ankle. My wife even said the same thing. These are very durable and well made skates that will undoubtedly last them.
