Review on TOSOT 10000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner with Remote Control, Built-in Dehumidifier, Cooling Fan for Rooms up to 400 sq.ft, Grey by Robert Chandrasekar

I ordered it because it is 'quiet' and more elegant dark gray compared to all other white air conditioners. This air conditioner does its job and keeps my small apartment cool, although I feel like it's only marginally quieter than the old one I had that this replaced. Portland hit a record 108 degrees yesterday, ear, and it worked great! Today I was expecting a temperature of 115 so I checked. I strongly recommend NOT using the sealant that came with the kit! First, it was broken and didn't give an even seal, was basically garbage. I went to have it removed and it was a great ordeal, see the picture I've attached. When I tried to remove it it fell into a million pieces, I had to buy a Goo Gone and spend over an hour laboriously scraping it off. The waterproofing they sell at Home Depot is much better and less than $5 so I would recommend using that. Another thing that drives me crazy about this air conditioner is that if you adjust the mode or temperature, it turns itself off for three minutes. I looked it up on the website and this is how it works. Other than that I am very happy with this purchase.
