Review on Whetstone Corundum Sharpening Slip Resistant Sharpener by David Urbanski

The stone works as advertised. I had no problems with it and got the desired results. It dries quickly, so I often dip it in water when sharpening more than one knife. What doesn't bother me is the non-slip bottom and rubber foot. Both have a bad odor which I've noticed on several Chinese made rubber products I've purchased, from the plunger to the doormat and that whetstone accessory. The smell doesn't go away over time so I removed the base and rubber support. I have not tested the corner guide on any of my knives but as others have reported it is quite stiff. Anyway, I'm not sure I would get much use out of it.
