Lid Cracked After Only 4 Months

The lid fitted my Craftsman mower perfectly, but after only 4 months I noticed the top of the lid was split. It was stored on a lawnmower in the garage, so it wasn't even on the street at the time. The last cover lasted for decades, so it's really sad that this one died so quickly.
