I did a lot of research and compared many cams before purchasing this for my 1967 Chevy truck with the original 327. I decided to rebuild the top end and upgrade the top end with a 2.02/1.6 valve. Edelbrock heads and inlet. This extreme energy cam sounded like it would go well with a street engine and has plenty of low-midrange torque as well as good power. The truck runs great with good idle and pushes my heavy truck with lots of power!
