Review on Rugged Ridge 11401 30 Polished Aluminum by Will Lockhart

I had an older version of these clamps on an old YJ which I liked and found to be very durable. They even survived a serious accident when a police officer on duty crashed into my car at full speed; They have never loosened or fallen off - a total surprise! I bought this new version for a 2013 JK Wrangler and am very happy with it. They simply snap into the new plastic (boo) grille and look very nice. Hope they are long lasting. 5 minute setup couldn't be simpler. One note: instead of installing bottom to top as instructed, I found it MUCH easier to install side to side, pushing from the right and then stacking each piece from the left. This seemed to make it easier for a simple clamping mechanism to grab the edge of the grille. If they last a few years like the old version, I'm sure I'll be very happy with the purchase.
