Review on 🧶 Vanna's Choice: Color It Beautiful Afghans - Enhance Your Home with Handcrafted, Vibrant Throws by Wendy Rodriguez

I have two Vanna White Afghan pattern books. This was my third. I found this book Color the Beautiful Afghans a disappointment because some of the patterns were repeated, just in different colors. And also because for a beautiful Afghan kilim dress on the cover you need at least one skein of almost every color! Like 40 skeins of yarn. Regular price on Lion Brand website will cost you over $160! With Joanne's lower price, it'll still cost you over $130. That's a lot of money, especially in today's economy. I felt that this book was nothing more than a "sale" of new yarn. Yes, the thread colors are beautiful. But Lion Brand would have done better to promote the yarn by showing an Afghan pattern with some recommended color combinations on the side or end of the patterns. Vanna's children are adorable and have certainly grown up since their previous books.
