I love beautiful knitwear, colorful illustrations, clear instructions and color names/numbers (manufacturers change color names but this information is pretty easy to find).

I didn't return the book because it was so cheap and shipping would have cost more than the book itself. . It was found to be in decent condition. When I received the book, the entire back cover of the book was folded back. Pages are jumbled and creased. I ended up throwing it away.

Vanna may only have a few different afghan patterns in the book, but there are definitely some good color ideas. She uses her own Lion Brand yarn for all of the patterns and shows how different colors would look together. I would never have thought of some of their ideas, but they look great together. I also like the idea that she includes ideas for the Warm Up America program that she is involved with. Most models are lighter.

I've seen several reviews saying they don't care that this book only teaches so many squares and then gives you repeated ideas on how to mix them in different color schemes to make afghan fabrics. I was very disappointed with the content of this book. There are 5 wave patterns, 5. They just changed the colors of the yarn.
