Wanted it to work
I bought this as an outdoor antenna for my balcony in my third floor apartment. I also bought a stand to mount it on so I can rotate the antenna and find the best position to receive signals. I spent most of the day trying to get good reception, trying different directions, with and without amplification etc. At best it pulled less than a flat cheap indoor antenna mounted on my wall. It was easy to install, flimsy, and unobtrusive, but it definitely doesn't perform as well as I expected.
