Review on πŸͺ‘ Traxion 2-700 ProGear Mobile Rolling Gear Seat with Equipment Tray and Five All-Terrain 5-Inch Casters by Andre Pendergrass

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Ideal for people with back and spine problems, very comfortable. Vehicle preparation, rim cleaning, etc.

First. Traxion is a great company. I had an issue that some reported was the hydraulic cylinder failing after a few hours of minimal use. I'm not a little guy, but we won't go over the 400 pound weight limit. I emailed them late one night, they called the next morning and a few days later I had an updated seat base with a lever and a new hydraulic cylinder. The new one's seat base appears to be thicker steel and a redesigned lever. My problem was that the button on top of the hydraulic cylinder pushed a lever that was pressed against the bottom of the seat. It went up when I stood up, but went down as soon as I pressed it. Second, it's AMAZING. It allowed me to sit in my old round seat in the garage for more than a few, not a few minutes, Master. I have severe lower back issues with lumbar fusion, scarring and nerve root damage and have no options other than pain relief. I'm only sharing this because I haven't been able to enjoy anything related to my passion for working with cars for the past 7+ years. I've found different tools to do different things, but this one tops the list and is probably my favorite. Obviously this didn't fix the problem but bought me some much needed time in my garage or shop. I'll buy another one for my shop when it gets cooler. It rolls easily on concrete, it goes through air hoses and extensions, but it's not easy for me. I tried it once but I find it easier to push him off with my good leg or stick. Actually it goes deeper than my master with 2 inch reels you know. The tray is useful for storage, you just have to make sure it's no higher than the seat in the lowest position if you want to use the adjuster or you could ruin something or make a big mess. I learned this equipment with an expensive bottle of liquid. Luckily I just cleaned the tray and was able to salvage most of it. Go ahead and buy it, I can't imagine anyone being disappointed unless you plan on using it on unpacked ground or dirt. I haven't tried it on gravel, only on fairly smooth hard material like concrete and tile. BTW I've done a great job around the house, it has enabled me to replace a couple of cupboard hinges that have been broken for years and my 7 year old enjoys it.
