I'm still working on some upgrades to my rig but the kit is still worth the money. I have a panel in one of the east facing windows and it can generate up to 24 volts at sunrise and around 18-12 volts the rest of the day. There is more than enough power to charge my phone, although the USB port on my controller seems to fail from time to time. The USB port appears to switch between its 5V/2A ratings and sometimes droops to lower power levels to the point where my phone drains a bit when plugged in. Until I get a suitable battery for the system, the USB connection is enough to charge the USB backup battery.
