Great Deal - Solar Panels

This panel comes with a variety of accessories, enough to connect it to almost anything. I don't know what the longevity is because I added a bit of time but I was so impressed I ordered another one. If the lifespan is the same as that of the panel and accessories I will be very impressed and would recommend this purchase to anyone looking for a panel of this size and performance. This is the best deal I could find and way better than the others.

Great product, use it to charge my ride on mower and car

So far I've used it to charge my ride on mower and my Town & Country minivan and it seems to be working great. Easily switch between things that need charging. Good quality, well made. Works as described. Maybe even buy another one later. Do not touch the controller while charging as it gets very hot (normal). Mine is mounted on the back of the charging pad so it doesn't get in the way and is somewhat weatherproof. i really like it

Good device except for two things

The solar charger seems to work well. It kept my RV's backup battery charged as expected, even in low light. However, when I tried to mount the footrest to the loading plate, the holes in the footrest were too small for the screws?! I had to use zip ties to mount. And I agree with other reviewers that whoever wrote the instructions page really should have a better command of English. And "extension" is not the same. This is a connector for direct connection to the inverter if required.

Amazing value for money

I'm still working on some upgrades to my rig but the kit is still worth the money. I have a panel in one of the east facing windows and it can generate up to 24 volts at sunrise and around 18-12 volts the rest of the day. There is more than enough power to charge my phone, although the USB port on my controller seems to fail from time to time. The USB port appears to switch between its 5V/2A ratings and sometimes droops to lower power levels to the point where my phone drains a bit when plugged

Panel Loading Power

I wanted to connect four small fans to cool the 1/4 HP motor. for a pond aerator. The problem was that the solar panel just couldn't charge the 12 volt battery that also powered the fans at night. I could probably switch to a 6V battery and have a better chance of success. The included small voltage regulator seemed to work fine. Yes I understand the 12v battery was overkill but I already had it. Update: I originally bought a 20w solar panel. However, the solar panel was not sufficient for…

The solar panel was dead out of the box. Bad solder joints and circuitry. Are they really checking QC?

The solar panel out of the box put out zero volts in the sun. I needed it the next day so I started troubleshooting. I removed the plastic cover from the wire bracket on the back of the solar panel and saw the problem. There is a large cylindrical resistor near the plastic cover latch. The latch hangs down and needs space underneath to move. The resistance is large and above the locking cap. When the lid is opened or closed, the latch hits the resistance and pushes it down a bit.
