You get what you pay for
The price difference (about half) between this Chinese fake and the Italian original Bialetti Moka was attractive, but the random processing made it clear how the production was saved. Even with the replacement of the Bialetti seal (the Chinese seal was useless) the two halves never came together, so steam escaped from the pot during brewing, leaving a significant amount of water in the lower boiler and a negligible amount of coffee in the upper. . After half a dozen attempts I failed and ordered the real Bialetti. live and learn
