Not as advertised on door guard

Not as advertised. What I received didn't have a metal core as shown in the picture. The video even shows using a rubber mallet to install it. This material has a tape inside to fix the product to the edge of the door. Cheap junk. The one with a metal core must be spread vigorously around the edge. Because the metal inside is pulled apart for assembly, no tape is required. The video does not show anything about removing the tape prior to installation. Only a rubber mallet is used. I would not recommend buying here. Quality control slept on it.
