Review on 🛠 Cognito Pitman and Idler Arm Support Kit for 1999-2007 GMC/Chevy 1500, Yukon, and Tahoe – PISK2006 by Scott Welch

Fits 2003 Tahoe Z71

Does what it's supposed to, eliminates center link radial movement. It also tightens the front end a bit. Too tight an adjustment will cause contact issues between the outer tabs and the stabilizer bar and elsewhere, depending on the application. It will also unduly stress the ball seat on the intermediate arm and cause it to break. You can tighten the clamps and see how they manipulate the position of your middle link. This also dampens the return of the steering wheel forward to center. Properly installed on my Tahoe after a complete Kryptonite rebuild, the "firmness" of the steering is the same with and without the kit installed. This simply eliminated the radial movement in the center link when turning, as intended. It won't miraculously fix your alignment just by setting it. This does not automatically correct the toe-in. It won't keep your front end from vibrating if you're using huge tires. I use this kit with a dual anti-roll bar on my Z71 and have had no installation issues or contact issues with the full suspension articulation. This is a good kit.
