Review on ☕ Amazon Basics Stainless Steel Fast Electric Hot Water Kettle | Portable, 1.7-Liter capacity for Tea and Coffee | Silver by Seann Barnes

It's hard to give a detailed review because I haven't had a chance to use this product once. When I first opened the item, everything seemed normal, but plugging into the switch was overloading my GFI switches, indicating some sort of short in the wiring. I tried using it again, unplugging all other devices from those outlets, and again it flipped the switch. The cable came out of the unit at an angle, so I wanted to check the wiring. However, they use a Phillips-like three-point screw and I couldn't open it. Since my child wanted to use this, I believe this item is unusable and unsafe. I would not recommend buying this kettle as the wiring is suspicious.
