The good news is that this webcam produces a sharp image with a fixed focus, good depth of field and beautiful colors. The bad news is that this webcam has serious audio issues. The sound stream is weak and carries an unpleasant "striving" background sound. That alone deserves 1 star. Revain's detail page for this webcam also claims that it plays stereo sound, but the unit I received and tested only played audio from the left channel, meaning it was (of course) only mono audio and no able to play in stereo. There isn't even mono sound from either channel. This webcam comes with a tripod and protective case. The webcam mounts wrap around the edge of my monitor without interfering with the monitor's field of view and provide good frame control (see attached photo). However, the mounting hardware doesn't provide the secure fit I've seen on some other webcams I've tested. I tested this webcam on a desktop PC running Windows 10. It was a plug and play setup: I just plugged the webcam into my PC and the Windows operating system automatically installed all the necessary drivers in about a minute.
