I bought a bathroom faucet with a very similar pop up drain. After about 4 leaked attempts to install this pop up drain I gave up. The parts, especially the gaskets, seemed cheap, and once I screwed them on and didn't succeed, they were practically destroyed. I found this nearly identical pop up drain and immediately realized the details were far more significant and more importantly the direction was clear as day. Don't guess which part was what and where it goes. After 5 minutes and one try I finally gave my wife a full wash again. We are both very happy with that. Highly recommended.
