Works great even if you don't want it.

This device works annoyingly well. Pros Works effortlessly. Connects automatically when the car is "awake", the power is turned on by something - for example, when the door is opened. It connects within a few seconds of turning on the car. The sound quality is excellent. Cons: It connects even when the car is off and disables other Bluetooth devices. I have a bluetooth speaker in my garage, I listen to music on my phone when I work there. Every time I open my car door, this device connects and disconnects my bluetooth speaker. Even if I disconnect this device from my phone, it automatically reconnects as soon as I turn the music back on. I have to turn off the bluetooth on my phone, wait 3-5 minutes without opening the car door for this device to actually turn off, then turn the bluetooth back on and reconnect to the bluetooth speaker. It connects automatically when the device is turned on. The default is your phone's music library, not Spotify. This isn't usually a problem, except that playback on saved media is much louder than on Spotify. So my ears get ripped off by the same song every time I start the car - by default it's the first song in alphabetical order on your phone. I'm really sick of listening to the first line of Aerosmith's Angle like I'm really sick of it. I can't figure out how to turn off the music when using the Maps app on my phone. It just keeps turning itself on automatically. So it's not possible to just drive without music, if I also want to get directions via my phone - at least I haven't found such a way. I've had a couple of occasions when I was driving with no music and they called me. Somehow it activated the music and it started playing. Since my car's display is on 'phone', I couldn't just turn the music off without answering the call and tell that person to wait until I stop the music to talk. Bottom line - works great for its core function but has a few quirks that are annoying but liveable.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Bad experience
