I really liked this headset, it's very visually appealing with the fabric on the outside and overall high quality from headbones (not much bass but that's ok) to the fitting to your face. The downsides are lens focusing, it's difficult to get very accurate focusing. In addition, the controller is comfortable, it's hard to understand what exactly it's doing, but it's much nicer than just using the button on the headset to select. The slider on the remote to adjust the direction up, down, left, right isn't very smooth, but I don't have to use it often. You'll never get that quality from your phone compared to an Oculus. Also, much of the functionality depends on your phone's sensors, compass, accelerometer, etc.
