I gave 4 stars because the size is wrong. I compared them to Clover and Tulip. When I used them against the Tulip they were 25mm larger than the size listed on the hook. I got the same result when comparing my Clover hooks. I like soft big holds and for that reason I think hooks are good hooks. I really wish the really small hooks had some kind of coating, either plastic or metal. The bag that came with the hooks is quite cheaply made and the stitching is of poor quality. But the hooks are good and this set would be a good set for beginners. I will keep this set. Any good knitter knows that sometimes a crochet hook isn't always the right size for a project. Yes, I would recommend these hooks.
