Review on πŸ”§ MLW48-22-9515 Metric Combination Wrench Set by Ronald Bleimeyer

Good value for hand tools

I got these to replace the mix-n-match metrics set I used as a road tech. Our equipment used fractionated equipment until recent years. So since I used metrics more often, I got them instead of taking my snap-on set from home. I don't like cheap tools, but these days there's not much between a Chinese set and a $500 set. As a field engineer, sometimes tools get lost and sometimes legs grow back, so I didn't want to go down the $500 route. Considering the price, I chose Milwaukee. I know they're not made in the USA, but based on my research, they have a reputation for quality. You did very well. The slight bulge in the center of the handle makes them more comfortable than my straight handle wrenches for high-torque applications, and the open jaws are less prone to slipping than regular flat jaws. The end of the box is a bit thicker than the more expensive brands, but I had no problem gluing it all over. They interact with a very positive feeling, so you know if you're fully on the clasp even if you can't see it or touch it with your finger. Either they're busy or they're not, no slipping. I was very impressed and would have no hesitation in recommending them. The only downside I can give them is that they don't have 24mm either as a kit or separately. I don't consider it a complete set without it, and I had to carry a vintage 24 with me. I hope Milwaukee eventually "completes" this set.
